Superior Home Care & Hospice

The Inter-disciplinary Team

The phrase “home care” indicates a variety medical and social services, that are typically supplied in a hospital or clinic setting, supplied instead in a private home. Depending upon the needs and wishes of the patient, home care services may be provided by:

  • Doctors

  • Physician's Assistants

  • Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses

  • Physical Therapists

  • Medical Social Workers

  • Speech Language Pathologists or Therapists

  • Occupational Therapists

  • Dieticians

  • Chaplains

  • Home Care Aides / Home Health Aides

  • Homemaker and Chore Workers

  • Family

  • Friends

  • Companions

  • Volunteers

The point of home care services is to provide needed services within the home of the patient. Generally, home care is recommended whenever a person must stay at home but still needs medical care that cannot be provided by family and friends. While home care may not bring back the days when all doctors made house calls, it does provide the opportunity for patients to receive necessary services outside of the hospital or clinic setting.

These are all reasons to consider Superior Home Care & Hospice. Contact us today for a free, no-obligation, in-home nursing assessment. In Utah, dial 1-800-HOMECARE (1-800-466-3227), anywhere else dial 801-254-3200 or click here to use our on-line contact form. We can help.
